The Beach

Poem By Hobert F. Herpin

I'll walk beside you hand in hand
Where the golden surf cries out for land.
With every dream within our reach
Where the sea comes in to kiss the beach.

And awoke with a smile upon my face.

Then waited for clothes, my brother had worn.
All through my childhood, come early or late
For one reason or other, I just had to wait.

My China Doll To Stacy

With outstretched arms she comes running to me.
Chattering and squealing, and so full of glee.
A bundle of love all wrapped in her charms.
A delight to hold all this in my arms.
