The Beauty Is Too Much For Me

Poem By Shalom Freedman

THE BEAUTY IS TOO MUCH FOR ME

The Beauty is too much for me
What am I to do with it?
The Music evokes feelings deeper than I can fathom
I want to create something of my own comparable
But the Beauty is too much
It is too great for me
The music the poetry of others moves me
As nothing I can do does
The Beauty is too much for me
All I can do is feel it.

Beauty is a wonderful and positive thing. It is a fortune, and a gift that is given—to be acknowledge, appreciate and enjoy.

All I Wanted Was Poems

I didn’t want other kinds of words
I wanted poems
Because they helped me feel more alive

Nothing Tells Me How To Begin Again
