The Best Of Company

In a rude and calamitous world
Where cash beds down with power
And greed rusts souls each hour
Let me gladly go sit among the tender
The caring forgotten old people
Knowing I'm in warm rich company
Looking through their windows
At the twinkling gleaming stars
Dreaming of Christmas and children
Each night in their failing years
