The Breakdown

The mind goes.
Slow to show the time has come.
To one childish.
Never to grow.
For many to know,
Too late has arrived.
To disguise the dimming of it.

An insecurity has magnified.
The breakdown.
A kept restlessness snaps.
Until it shows to those,
Not surprised.
But no one anticipated it.
To happen the way it did to do.
In public and viewed.
But not shock.
