Healthy Smiths

Poem By Jason Bredle

Once you smile
The world smile at you with cunning
When you cry
No one does so with you
The cantle towards sea is no longer alive-but
Someone can change and light up the cantle in safe hands
Take your sword and hew those who
Never befriend you-and
Throw your roses of grinning to their graveyard
You perhaps walk under the glooming sky
Push yourself for a couple of miles-then
There is a greenish valley for you-and
You will see the heap of nettlesome words being used to hurt you
Those will implore you to forgive
Walk with a pride shoulder
Thousands of Lullabies will be sung for your tranquil sleep

to comfort you in your times of distress
and lead you from your misguided steps
and bring you up when your depressed

Beautiful Prayer

The most beautiful prayer
that my friend prayed for me
he opened up his heart and let me share
his feelings on the situation at hand

She sits in her lonely house and writes down these tears
but her piece of paper is soaked with her fears
the pen no longer works for the paper tears
her thoughts and her memories are for no one who cares
