There Was A Young Lady Whose Eyes

were unique as to colour and size;
When she opened them wide,
people all turned aside,
and started away in surprise.

Heart touching and poignant. I like to quots some lines here... My heart is aching Tears are dripping I won't see you for long I am burning and melting inside Soon I will be Consumed by the flames And the wax will be scraped off. Beautiful metaphorical poem shared. Full vote.
Very well written with poetic emotion inscribed into each word, dark shadows are reflecting...covered breeze...burning and inside melting..outstanding last line...and the wax will be scraped off! ! Wonderful poetry! !
