The Clocks On Our Lives

The clocks on our lives ever keep ticking fast
And each day we do live one nearer to our last
Make the most of each day life is a precious thing
Who knows for to say what the future will bring
Some of the town's wealthiest people are not so today
Where the dead are their last remains lay
To the scythe of life's reaper all lives does fall
And to the dead fame and money is of no use at all
Life is not all about what you do for yourself but also what for others you do
Treat other people as you would like them to treat you
Live and let live as the wise one does say
And give to receive life is this way
The clocks on our lives does keep ticking on
And at the stroke of midnight today will have gone.
