The Dark Ages

Down from soaring lofts you fell,
From heights of the enlightened mind.
Into depths of ignorant hell,
To a new dark age that is blind.
Snuffed is your candle, you’re too blind to tell,
That knowledge is fading fast.
Black clouds descend, the world is not well,
The enlightened age has passed.

Gary, If you are talking about the present...I want out of here! : 0) I'd rather believe that we are headed for higher consciousness, enlightenment and mass ascension myself...but, I'm an optimist...then again I may need an optician to replace my rose colored glasses. Ray
