The Day Monsoon Appeared Upon My Eyes

Time spins fast in cycles
only indicators left to lift souls from muck
jamun trees flowered
and fruits stained paths violet
then it rained, cool crystals fell
storm clouds deep in heart
pain in eyes, constantly crying
emotions flowing as streams joining rivers
again cyclones in Bengal bay
dreams often shattered, hopes lost
shivering chills in spine
an unknown danger lurks
exothermic vibrations
a hot and humid summer
again monsoons in Arabian sea
jamun trees flowered in streets of Delhi
falling fruits stained heart vessels violet
street children selling a corpse
to be cremated, covered white, head to toe.
