The Dissipation Show

Many a band has scaled the grand old face of the show
Some belong to indie and some to those you know
Walk of Fame ghosts and talk show hosts are numbered in the sand
To beautify the celebs and shake the many hands

There's nothing on the hills but a singer and her fill
And a crooked sign of Hollywood
You see a lot there too but don't be fooled
You'd get big too if only you just could

Our TV's free but you can't see Sunday football's made to blind
Feasting on diversion while the real world is denied
Entertainment scene, a thick smokescreen
Stimulate the senses to gratify

Film, Music, sports all in between sorts
Mind flogging industry
Bands, actors and athletes, living out their dream
Their high command, the imperial hand, the power reigns supreme
