The Echoes Of Your Laughter

Just what was it that filled you so full of giggles
that day? Rolling on the floor with a child’s freedom,
bubbles of laughter billowing breezily out mountain
doors, sliding easily down icy brooks
to sink into soil and nourish the laughing aspen.

Was it the profundity of my tongue
or the Silence of my fingers that amused you so?

Or was it simply your own dancing hands,
a whirlwind wielding pen upon the page?
