The End

I'm facing the end alone,
Death something I cannot postpone,
I need my space, I need to breathe,
Happiness something I did not achieve.
My loneliness is killing me,
I just want to drown in the depths,
Of my turbulent sea.
I cannot face this violence anymore,
Belief or relief not to be found on the shore,
I am trapped and running fast,
Times of my youth not a blast.
I am alone here, in this time and space,
I am in a world of fears,
I am confused and bruised,
Daydreams the wishes of yesteryear.
I have seen my true self:
And it is something I do not like,
For I have seen the truth and it stings,
Like the sharpest spite,
What I am, I cannot ignore,
Because this soul is empty and poor.
