The Goat

Within the clustered blocks of harbour
Lies the roam of a blonde goat
And all she did was merely gnaw
Till she found a grassy sight
And this bequeath her lure

So she sighs with craving eyes
Bearing steady steps
....Closer....
For all her hope and merry lies
On soothing her very desire
But slowly,
Her wary dies

Behold her swift and earnest clasp
On nature's strands of green
So she srides majestically
As if unseen
Off the lawn of fruitfulness

Ambush awaits her from afar,
Preparing her for the slaughter
That if she bore another pace
The sudden strike embrace
But then she thrust for her dear life
Hopping strings of trap
So she fled with only a stigma
