The Grey Unsure Road

Poem By Seán O Muiríosa

The metallic beasts drift past,
Tremendously, in a tension breaking moment.
Realisation hits in towards acknowledgement
And all the similarities – of pure driven emotion.
But they rush past quickly,
In a flash that will never be relived.

They bustle along the winding grey roads
Some far more striking than others, such parallels!
Parading their eloquent customised features;
Their proudness is a mere existence
On the grey unsure road.
A struggle – but what a journey.

A good write Sea'n, it's very hard to rely on roads?
Sean, a grand piece. A poetic version of a road movie. I like it.
what an ending.. Especially 'their proudness is a mere existence..' it reminds me of life were what ever we do at the end nothing really matters! Well done! HBH
So nice to once again read the words of such a poet! Another marvelous work, my dear. Thanks. Amanda
