The Hands Of A Carpenter

Poem By Baby Blue

Being so far from Home,
Having nostalgia grow deeper in my heart,
Longing to no longer be apart.

Desiring to see the precious hands
That have redeemed my wretched soul.

The hands that bore so much pain
The weight of the world,
Yet never once joined with sin.

The Hands that grasped me
And my pathetic life of vapor,
Never relinquishing.

The hands of soft gentle love.
Unconditional compassion,
And Mercy.

The Hands of a Carpenter.
