The King Star

Poem By Jon McIntosh

The King Star sits, there above all.
In the center of everything, he gives light to darkness.
Upon His touch, shadows are stalled.
Even the great Lochness
Stands in awe.

The spherical orb of a citizen rises.
“O, King! ” he pleads, “shower me in light! ”
The King, not surprised
Simply smiles, and with His might,
Showered His subject in light.
