The Ladder And The Lady

Light...
Camera...
Then the root
Holding the stick
Voicing the mind
Many with ears
The lady
Struggling to stand
Right on top of the ladder
The air filled
With eloquency
The lady
Struggling to stand
Right on top of the ladder
Grey filled the skull
Red painted the lips
Covered in blood
The lady
Struggling to stand
Right on top of the ladder
Then the air
Refilled with birds
All spoke to their heels
Her heels refused to fly
Her hips failed to joy
The Lady
Struggling to stand
Right on top of the ladder
What a pain
What a waste
The lady
Still struggling with her legs
Right on top of the heels
Man made ladders
