The Lies
MM Meagan Miller (1991 / Bastrop, LA)

The Lies

Too many lies,
So much deception,
The confusion I can no longer bear.
A coat of worry I always wear.
Worrying that you will stray again;
I am more stressed now than I have ever been.

The lies grow bigger and moe complicated.
The places that were once clear are now darkly shaded.
Shaded with secrets that are hard to keep
Every time I think about it I begin to weep.
Not knowing what to do about the lies,
Sometimes wanting to lay down and die.
