The Little Children

Poem By Dale Garman

Let us remember the little children in how we
lead our lives, no matter how we look at it ourselves
we are role models to them so small and dear, for
they have their little eyes and ears wide open. And
they notice everything we say and do, this is one
of the ways they have of packing ideas and
knowledge in their little minds which are so
empty and so new. And whether we want them to
or not, they look up as role models to me and
you. And they way we live and perform in our lives
has an awful lot to do with what they become when
grown to women and to men, our actions
now could make the difference in whether they
become a criminal or a saint.
