The Many Faces Of Noise

Poem By Ralph J. Silverman

Noise can be like a flower
Fragrant and admired
or
Noise can be like a weed
Discordant, unwanted

Noise can be friendly
Shouts of derision
or
Noise could be crude comedy
Unappreciated, raucous, slapstick

Noise can be a community comfortable
With questions, seeking answers
or
Noise could be a community content
With hyperbole and the hypothetical

Noise can be people with fantasy dreams
Seeking the gilded lily or the shiny halo
or
Noise could be a flock of migrating birds
Praising God for the lake, stream or the forest

Noise can be like a flower
Fragrant and admired

Come With Me Let Us Give Thanks

Come with me my love
Let us climb the mountain of the Lord
Let us sing praises unto Him
Let us say amen to His creativity
