The Mistake

The Mistake

Admitting diagnosis was
a major heart attack.
She did receive the best of care
and died that night.

No one had thought to check her lungs.
A giant clot
full of fibrinogen and more
rang in her doom.

Note:
A blood clot is a plug of platelets
bound up in a network of
insoluble fibrin molecules.
It can be a killer.
