The Ocean

As I sit watching the waves crash against the rocks,
I forget my troubles as if there was no Pandoras box.
The waves just crash and carry my troubles away.
Making me feel as if I could handle another day,
So I sit and get my comfort, my peace, and my strength.
Feels as if I have thrown my troubles past arm's length.
I pray to God and He hears me.
He tells me not to worry.
So I sit a spell because I am not in a hurry.
Thank God for the ocean, the waves, and the rocks.
For if I didn't have them, I wouldn't know God's handiwork.
