The One That Felt It

Poem By Babette Teeth

The one that felt it
Has something to say
The feelings might be lost in some way
Though the spitting had been newly made
Too much to welling up from the mouth
And dripping down into the aloe bush
Beside the riverside
With the smell of damp soil ground
And the cloud
Leisurely rollying by

Pretend to offer you some good
But with the tasteless holes
Empty and vacant
