(the Parasite, Part Ii) Death Of The Parasite

This cannot continue, I must be free
But how can I kill this monstrosity?
It feeds off of depression, apathy, and anxiety
While murdering every thing good in me
Then I remember a lesson learned long ago
I didn’t understand it’s power, but now I know
When getting rid of something bad in your life
Good must replace it or you will have nothing but strife
This last time I defy you and throw you to the floor
You will run my life and ruin me now no more
Finally, I have the power to put you in the garbage bin
At last you will die in refuse, a fitting end.
