The Passer By

Poem By jay algernon

I walked through the yard where we use to play
Under the trees grown old with age
I could not hold the tears that day
I remember how we use to play
together when our parents did not care
In that yard we did not care
But time has passed now and forever
And I weep for time spent
But I let the tears flow for time never spent.
