The Past

The Past

Only a sandune remains above the ground
That the time 'll raze without a sound;
Should I say we 'll miss you not
Should I say we 'll stop not
Awhile, flicking through the dusty albums,
Should I say like a night, time turns opaque
The liquid eyes,
-A Shaft strikes off the past-
Images flash in the mirror
And pass away with the bearer,
Clinks of broken car
Lie on the cold tar
Honking horns whiz past,
Should I say we have whizzed past
The past.
