Typical Teen (The Feeling)

Poem By Dion Webster

written on 10/4/01

Somewhere deep down, theres a emptyness from within. Life is filled, with uncertainties and sin. I long for something the cause of which I dont know. I love that feeling but want it to go. There are times when I just want to go off and die. But then there are times that I feel I could fly. That emptyness feeling makes me want to shout. But I never will. Loves what I'm talking about. Love causes hope, and love causes hate. Love sucks in many ways. But hey, ain't love great?

Because suicide is simple
I take my own life
To rid myself of your pain
I cut deeply with this knife.

Your words are slowly killing me
When you ask for me to stay.
I can feel the pain within your words
As you're slowly pushing me away.

I Don'T Know

I don't know what to say.
Cuz I don't know how I feel.
I thought that what we had,
Well I thought that it was real.
