The Poet's Gift

Come out with me, into warm summer night.
And let me gather few stars for you.
Not this one at all, nor this one will do,
Ach! Here is a star just right.
Here it is, and hold it please.
Hold tight, next to your heart.
Never, never, this star release -
Fore my heart would break apart.
