The Potter's Choice

Poem By Walter M. Horton

'Tis precious clay the potter bakes
henceforth to make his molds
and yet it is his choice alone
to claim and save our souls.
Almighty God is just and true
to all that he creates
Let not your heart be troubled
if some he does not make
to understand
his wisdom and listen to his voice
Oh blessed hand of mercy still
'Tis the potter's choice.

The Lens Of Hubble

In awesome fear the nations watched
a comet with no tail.
Alas! The army of the lamb
in ships of judgment sail.
