The Prettiest Night

You asked her
'When do you cut yourself? '
And she said
'When I can't feel'

You asked her
'How come you're not yourself? '
And she said
''Cause I'm not real'

Her screams rip the very stars from the sky
The thunder roars in pain when she cries
She walks into a room and removes the light
Her pain could destroy the prettiest night

She wears elastic on her wrists
And a sparkle in her eye
So you don't know that she's
Just about to cry

She lights a smile on her lips
And she lies. 'Tonight. Tonight is devine'
When she knows in a short time
The stars will see her carve another red line.

Her screams rip the very stars from the sky
The thunder roars in pain when she cries
She walks into a room and removes the light
Her pain could destroy the prettiest night

Good one Gab, Sometimes we thought what we knew to be love is a false security blanket
