Moving On

It started with glances, yeah yeah
I barely knew you, but you noticed me
Then came the question allright
Life was great, someone cared,
but I wasn't so sure myself
Time moved on, yeah yeah
I started to notice you too
My question was asked, but
unfortunately answered
I messed up, ruined my chances
Forget it girl, I'm moving on
This shit happens all the time
I should be, must be moving on
Oh no! Oh no! Moving on! So sad
And now I see you in the hallway
Glances contain a bit of negativity
I've tried to be your friend again, yeah
But you wouldn't have it
You no longer care about me anymore
I messed up, ruined my chances
Forget it girl, I'm moving on
This shit happens all the time
Just another face to avoid
So forget you, I'm moving on

nicely written like a true prophetic dream...i lik the style!
It is very difficult to convey adequately the lyric and dramatic voice of Russians. Sadly, in English it doesn't burn through your heart as it would in his mother tongue. But many a sage has told of the same experiences as Pushkin tries to impart.
