The Rains Return
As darkness emerges and silence speaks.
Sitting on the corner of midnight dreams.
A twinkle falls from its glimmering path.
The stars are gone that one time gleamed.
The rains have come and soaked the ground
The reflection pierces, moving right.
Just as the moon would light the sky.
A scarlet red consumes the night.
The rains will end and the sun will come.
First bringing warmth but then it burns.
And then the night will come to heal.
But once again the rains return.
Delivering a scar that most ignore
The sun can’t dry the pain that’s formed
The bleeding heart has poisoned the mind.
Revealing the only way how she calms the storm.
