The Real Deal

Poem By Carey Anderson

I'm not like most other girls
I don't expect diamonds and purls
I have the rest of my life to complete
I want me and a nice man to meet

I want a real man
who gives me all he can
Who's rich inside and out
Who provides something to talk about
A man who lets me in his heart
Who takes me along while doing his art
I want a man with arms made of stone
He must talk to me in a comforting tone

I'll never settle for a heartbreaker
I'll wait night and day for a caretaker
I'll wait to find the sparks that I need to feel
When I do I'll seal the deal
