The Season's Greetings

Poem By Abraham Oommen

In blossoms stands the orchard spick and span
As minds are filled with fragrance soothing soft
A song of cheer is sung by bees and leaves
Attend the feast of sounds and colours grand

Inhale the freshness full; let faces shine
Let ailing lungs respire refreshing air
The flush of Spring erases gloom from hearts
As smile on lips dispels the clouds from face

On pasture's tufted grass, the feel is soft
So mooch around on naked feet and muse
The season's greetings herald news of peace
A fetching smile on parched lips of folks

Let's barter pains for Nature's gifts so rich
The season brings exalted swing of mood
And magic spell that cures the sick of throes
Embrace and feel at heart the season's touch
