The Secret

Poem By mary raybon

This room is dark and cold
just like the secret I will always hold
the one that only one knows
the one that’s eat away at me for years
it has seen plenty of my tears
and is the blame for a lot of my fears
there is no forgive and forget
cuz I have forgave but still can not forget
and it makes me sick
every time I see that prick
the unheard screams
still haunt my dreams
I have less and less as the months roll by
but that dream will never say goodbye
just like the pain that hides behind these baby blue eyes

Comments about The Secret

amazed by the beauty that surrounds me

My Favorite View

Looking up at the country sky
On a beautiful summers night

The clouds glide across the sky with ease

The Love I Had For Her

The love I had for her then
Half of my family would say it’s a sin
I can heard them then in the back of my mind
That whole time
