The Spirit Of A Sister

Poem By Janette Anderson

A most special friend

the one to call

when in crisis

one thing that is constant in life

cause life is like a roller coaster

that silvers up and down a chain of slopes.

I now gloat and beckon your forgiveness

and love for our blood is not by chance

ordinary, but a unique strain.

Thus remember in my times of acute

frenzy and despair what

sisters are all about --

celebrating the sweet with the bitter.

False Hope

He's known this promise before

The system has given it

False hopes to know love, hug

Mother, Father, play Cowboys and Indians.
