The Statue Of Liberty

Poem By Olga Batista

I want to be
like the Statue of Liberty
and whoever comes to me
I would let them in I want to be in an Solitary Island
and in the daytime
everybody who enters and exits La, la, la, la,
la, la, la, la, I want to always have my torch lit
and I want to make you
what I've made of my like I want to have a crown in my head
and I want to be New York greatest princess. I want to think with my mind
everything that I wanted
and if you don't like it turn your head
my feelings can take me
anywhere up to the sky
and bring me back down in a star. La, la, la, la, la, la, la
