Beyond My Grasp

The wind is blowing on my face
The stars spread far across the sky
My fingers stretch out
My hand held high
But they are beyond my grasp

The visions I see in my head
Things of what I wish were there
Beckoning me forward
I walk
But they are just beyond my grasp

The river swirling around a rock
The one I slowly balance on
A pebble slowly tumbles by
I try
But it is just beyond my grasp

The last twinkle of day's light
Slowly sinking in the sky
So close to touch
I blink
And it moves just beyond my grasp

Great metaphor and a beautiful poem, the messages of Almighty is never understood by us in true sense and hence we keep fighting and arguing....100++++
