The World In Poetic Form
Poem By Mallory Horne
If I can't get over the thought of you,
And this world just seems to be full of meaningless clues,
Taking each breath ever so deeply,
Wishing it would stop feeling so bleackly. The thought
of her brings hope to my mind,
While everything else just seems to unwind,
Causing things to actually make sense,
Children believeing in this horrible suspense.
Strangers being brought together,
After all we are but birds of a feather, war is brought about,
And long time friends fade-out.
Some die while others suffer,
Every passing moment makes the world densier, artists are recognized,
While the value of music is downsized.
Teenagers are recruited into something so much bigger
As formally written books stay unused on their bookshelves,
Perfection becomes mandatory,
Making every mistake feel more and more corky
