The Worst Thing

Poem By Ardimus Caldwell

The worst thing
is holding on to someone
who dosen't want to be held on to
a caged bird
only wanting freedom that was given to them
falling for someone
who isn't going to catch you
life is too short
to be anything but happy
kiss slowly
love deeply
forgive quickly
love right
and you'll never hit the ground
if you do it right
don't be afrid to take chances
never regret
forget the past
but be smart and remember
what it taught you
sometimes we all have to smile
and pretend that everything is ok
holdig in our tears from the world
walk away and through the rainbow
and through the rainbow
let it shine over
the worst thing

What Do You See

What do you see
When you look at me
Look deep in my eye's
Do you see a young man

To The Girl That Makes Me Smile

look me in my eyes
whisper silent sweet notes to me
let them escape your mouth
let them so soft that my ears lean forward

Alone On This Road

Riding in this car unknowing what's out there
Confused
Not lost yet
Nobody behind me or in front

A Quite Heart Beat

For the heart is strong
a powerful muscle within the body
but out the body
when given to another

Fearful Lover

I don't want to worry about losing you
Being to socially connected to misguiding networks that we shape our lives to
Take a step back into the 1800's and do this like real people use to do
Instead we hide behind our self pride and become scared of getting hurt
