The Zulu-Girls Pearls

Come with me to Zululand
come and take my hand
come and wander with me
come let us sit by the akasietree.
Now you can see the zulu's dance
take a look and a glance
look at the pearls she has on
she sends them to her boy when he has gone.
The pearls are something very rare
she sends them for love and care
when you send love letter
she sends pearls to keep them together.
The green pearls mean jealousy
the blacks are the sorrows melody
the yellows tell about difficulty and hurting
the red pearls mean love and flirting.
The white pearls stand for their home
that the high spirits shall protect their dome
the pink for true and ever happiness
and that shall always be their address.
