Redefining Death

Poem By Dennis Go

I think of you wherever I go
As the wind shall sweetly blow
I miss you, and we both know
My heart fonder it will grow

In the summer's heat
In the winter's cold
My heart in its constant beat
Your hand I shall ever hold

Come and sail by with me
As we shall cross the sea
Closest to the summer breeze
In one direction as we please

I wish you are always with me
As I dream, I still see our reality
As I wake up, you're next to me
Entangled in your arms, I plea

In my bosom, your love I'll behold
My days will always be bright
My nights will never be cold
As ours shall be my morning light

After The Thrill Is Gone

Love, what have I to do with thee?
We parted in the dewy heat of yesterday
Yet yearning remains, echoing
Till time runs short, grieving

I fed the world my tears
With sobs of wile and woe.
Sternly, I faced my fears
To hearts of young and old.

A beating drum...
Pounding... pounding...

Steadfast tunes

Chess

I played the game with a smile.

Pawns suppressing the move
Made by my hand for the king.

Gambling

I gambled with luck
And bet on the falsehood
That creases on my form

A Part Of Me

She can never be
A part of me
Although I tried.
God knows I tried.
