This House

This House

She shudders at his touch
And refuses his embrace
The spark is long extinguished
In this show that's just for face.
Both of them know,
But simply won't admit
There is no love in this house
If indeed there ever was.
Beneath his masked frustration
Boils a jealous sea
That he can not control
Her or anything.
