This Moment~

Poem By Heather Biscoe

The single tear
that fell from
your face
I say i can't anymore
it's too hard
sufficating me here
in this moment
you take my hand
and pleading for
me to stay
here with you
I can see the pain
behind your eyes
and for once
my heart is bledding
only you can't see
I'm trying to feel alive
that I need time
to find myself
you say you love me
and ask me not to go
I wish I could
I kiss your lips
for the last time
and walk out the door
I could feel your
heart shatter
into a million pieces
and I begin to cry
wishing I could turn around
and run back to you
but I know I can't

Meeting An Angel

I saw the face
of an angel today
a smile that could break you
a laugh that could heal you

Standing In The Rain

The rain comes down harder
I stand there watching you leave
nothing I do, or say
is ever good enough

Only A Moment

Dreams are for those without a soul
who waste away to nothing
at the end of the day
when they realize they have nothing

Beautiful Fate

We were so young
all we had was time
the moments flew by
we didn't even notice

Someone To Save Me

I sit here
with a bottle of Bacardi
in my hand
as the sky turns dark

The rain falls down
and tonight
I find myself alone
a cup of coffee
