Through Life's Challenge

Poem By John Hazon Palen

The way's hard thru seas with playful waves.
It's like you can't be any brave.
Everything around slows your pace,
But this poem's made to give you faith.

Crowds of faces can't help to shake you,
Give you bleak, stinging views.
But they're just cynics with spells not true;
I worry not, I've known you so.

Earth-shattering bombs of words they throw.
Perish the doubts in this storm.
I tell you either way so you'll know..
The north star's still your own!

Remember the light reaching heaven?
It's now I'm contemplating.
Your tears ain't worth to flow this evening,
Be firm like what you taught me then.

I am on the passenger side,
Daydreaming to the sky
The day's bright and full of life.. then
In a mile, I caught your sight

Fate

Summer after high school, I recall
You're beautiful, my eyes rolled
The time we met by the low sunset,
All things in life then went great

Glimpse To A Passenger Seat On A Friday Night

I'm standing there, had watched the bus
To another town, it runs so fast
It's a roller-coaster kinda rush,
Picturing in mind your casted blast

A Prayer

I asked God for strength, that I
...might achieve
I was made weak, that I might learn
...humbly to obey...

To Ms. Congeniality

You're still young, bright, innocent
He's unworthy, liar, impenitent
You cry without argument
though hurts to you went
