Purple Lady Slippers

Poem By Kenneth English

the man and the woman
are traveling in the bus,

man
I have this small piece of blue
running in my blood
since ever we broke up
and I Sometimes think
if this big dark enter my blood
I will not notice the blue one again

woman
you are with that girl
why do you care for this blue

she repeats to herself:
is he still in love with you

man
I make it clear
I still have woe
for the past we lost
I shoud get rid of
those woes and dust

woman
but you love her now
forget all the pains
that shows as blue

man
I wish
we could be nice now
not to get angry
when you see my name
not to get nervous when I See yours

she is watching outside
through the window
she is wondering
you were the one
who taught me
hate can replace love

she says nothing
she keeps silence
she thinks she may hurt
the man's feelings

still the man and the woman
are traveling in the bus
