Poem By Justin Zahn

Runs rampant through the world;
like a knife through our reason.
To opened minds full of desire,
This gives way to a heartless liar.

It holds strain to our thoughts;
It scares off ambition.
Confused by foolishness's cruel design,
it causes soft conforming minds.

It promises the answer;
to the question we all have.
Unknowing to a painful end,
people live their lives in ignorance.

It has an iron grip,
through which you can't escape.
It blinds and binds through unknown fear.
Without its strain we'd perservere.

Past Love

I stumbled on a face I met today
which beauty over took my growing eyes.
A face so sweet, admired by the day.
For which replied, I smiléd with a sigh.

Who Am I

Who am I? ...
Is there truely an answer? ...

For if I were to tell,

As The Moon Loves The Sun

I love you
as the moon loves the sun.
Cause without the sun,
the moon wouldn't shine.

Hold My Head

Hold my head, hold my head.
Watch! For the time spent aching
and shaking,
my head may lose its center

Wonder I'Ll Wander

Wonder I'll wander,
as I walk down this road,
to where it will take me,
where? I don't know.

Where Be My...

Look at this desk in disarray,
clutter like that of the waste land,
but yet we pray;
as the blank page stares back with mocking eyes
