Poem By Joseph Rambeaut

Why must it hurt so much
that I cannot make you mine?
for you belong to another,
far from my embrace,
it is there you dream of your lover,
while i dream of you,
only to have them crushed
then cast into the empty abyss
that sits in place of my heart,
just remember one thing in you life of new found happiness:
I shall ALWAYS love you,
even if you dont feel the same.

The silence is deafening
I fear I cannot stand it any longer
but I dare not break it
for it would unleash the rath of the beast

Darkness Inside

The darkness lay dormant inside me,
quiet and patient,
it sits and it waits.
It waits for a time

I sit here and wonder,
what lies out that window
how I long to step through it and find out~
Is there someone else out there?
