To A Lady On Receiving Her Letter
Life seem so narrow,
by Instalasi Sastra
I felt my time is come;
When you broke the arrow,
From my heart that lonesome.
No light bright my path,
Through this darkest sight;
Anguish in cruelty fate,
When my flesh and spirit fight.
Love is the divine creation of god,
But can be the cruelties rose of woe;
Drowning me in the gore of mud,
When my dearest and beloved be my foe.
No more for me a mirth,
I tried to undeceive my faith;
When every one castaway my birth,
And no one ever mourned on my death.
