To Fly.

Poem By Cecilia Parkin

Oh Lord, let me fly - my heart be free
Of dogma and habit styfling me.
Let me walk always as you would walk,
Let me talk - as you would talk.
Let compassion be my guide,
Laughter, good humour close beside.
Lord, hard as I try to do your will -
Let me fly and be free,
To refind me.

We all have to find ourselves, Cecilia, and possibly to refind many times. Lovely prayer. Sincerely Ernestine
I could use this prayer in a second, but I'm not sure if you meant 'refind' or 'refine' at the end. I don't really feel right critiquing anyone's prayer, but for me (since you did post it publicly here) , the last line could be a bit more strong and natural.
